Project Overview
Atelier 47 is a workplace for a design-led company that wanted fewer fixed desks and more ways to work together.
The plan reads as a sequence of open studios, quiet rooms, and shared tables, connected by a single timber spine that runs the length of the floor.

The Idea
A plan that keeps moving.
Circulation is treated as workspace. Wide routes pass every team, so conversations start on the way to somewhere else.
A regular structural grid lets rooms be opened, closed, or combined without rebuilding the interior.
Oak, linoleum, and raw plaster were chosen for how they wear, so the space improves with daily use.

From drawing to reality.
Design and fit-out were planned together, which kept the programme short and the detailing consistent from the first drawing to the last fixture.
