Project Overview
Monument 09 is a small public building and courtyard that gives a neighbourhood a place to gather, remember, and exhibit.

The Idea
One room for everyone.
The hall is a single generous room that can hold an exhibition, a meeting, or a quiet afternoon.
Narrow openings bring in controlled daylight and frame the surrounding streets like pictures.
Concrete was cast in visible lifts, recording the making of the building on its own walls.

The Process
From drawing to reality.
Close coordination with the city, engineers, and the contractor allowed a demanding concrete specification to be delivered on a public budget.
